What will you do in the DaisyLabs team?
In this role, you will be diving into the fascinating world of data.
As a member of working group collaborating with Italian and international clients, you’ll be actively involved in the design and development of data architectures. This includes data modeling and the implementation of ETL processes, which are essential for effective data management.
You’ll also be tasked with developing data analysis solutions using OLAP. This approach allows for complex analytical queries to be answered quickly, turning raw data into valuable information.
Finally, your work will involve the creation of dashboards and reports. This is where the data you’ve analyzed is transformed into visual, easy-to-understand formats.
It’s a role that requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to present data in a meaningful way. If you’re passionate about data and its potential to inform decision-making, this role could be a great fit for you.
Required:
- Degree in Engineering / Mathematics / Physics / Computer Studies, or related fields.
- Knowledge (even minimal if supported by a passion for data) of SQL language and fundamental concepts of data modeling.
- Native Italian speaker or excellent proficiency in spoken and written Italian
Plus:
- Knowledge of the SQL Server stack (DB Engine, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, PowerBI).
- Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms.

What will you do in the DaisyLabs team?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Data Engineering team. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the design and development of data architectures, data modeling, and ETL processes. You’ll also be tasked with developing data analysis solutions using OLAP, as well as creating dashboards and reports.
Your work will have a broad impact, contributing to projects for significant Italian and international entities. These projects span the entire lifecycle of an analytical project, from feasibility and offer development to timing, design, and implementation of Data Management and Business Intelligence solutions.
In essence, this role is about harnessing the power of data to drive decision- making and strategy. It’s a chance to apply your skills and knowledge in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and to make a real difference in the field of data engineering.
Required
- At least 4 years of experience in the analysis, design, development and testing of DWH
- Knowledge in design and implementation of technical architectures and related documentation
- Deep knowledge of the concepts and techniques of Data-warehousing
- Knowledge and use of the main tools for designing, modeling and presenting data on premises and in the cloud
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Excellent Problem-solving skills – you will face new challenges every day, you must be skilled in solving them in the shortest possible time
- Native Italian speaker or excellent proficiency in spoken and written Italian
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English language
Hard Skills:
- Knowledge and use of the SQL Server stack (DB Engine, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, PowerBI)
- Database: MongoDB, SQL Server
- Tools for machine-learning or Artificial Intelligence such as Python and R
- Other: Azure SQL Service, DB SQL Online; PowerBI Service
Soft Skills:
